The engineering field is a broad and diverse one. It can range from designing and building cars, airplanes, and skyscrapers to designing software and electronics. The engineering field is also a very competitive one in which you can build your own career. You will have to decide how much time you want to put into this career path and how much money you want to make along the way.

The first step toward success in engineering is understanding what engineering is about. Engineering is about problem solving, creativity, and being able to see things from different angles than other people see them. Engineers use math and science as tools to help solve problems and create things better than anyone else could without them.

Engineering students need strong math skills because they have to understand how things work both mechanically as well as electronically by using math equations to determine what goes where in order for their designs or plans to be successful.
